Steeped in family history, England Mansion 9682 is a unique private home, containing some fascinating Royal and Family Portraits, fine 18th and 19th century furniture and porcelain. Standing on the river Trent, surrounded by historic parkland, the mansion has been in the hands of this family since 1405, and the present Hall, built in 1745, with magnificent Reception Rooms, is the home of Robin and Kate Neilson and their three children.
Guests enjoy three four-poster and six twin-bedded rooms all with bath/shower. The Dining room seats 50. There is extensive grounds and a private chapel. Facilities include fishing, tennis court, walking and horse riding. Game shooting is organised between September and January. Guests can visit the potteries (Wedgewood, Spode and Royal Doulton) and Shakespeare's birthplace and all are only one hour away. The Belfry Golf Course (home of the PGA) is twenty miles by road. 30 Minutes from Birmingham and East Midlands airports.
