It lies sheer above the sea in a dominating position and was built to observe and prevent the raids by pirates and other invaders who all too often encroached on this coastal paradise. In the old days the torre was nearly inaccessibile unless you came from the sea due to the protection afforded by a chain of unsurmountable mountains. It is thanks to these geographical characteristics that the marvellous features of the Amalfi Coast have survived intact and this property is a superb example.

The property stretches from the coastal panoramic road right down to the sea and along the way you follow a delightful and perfectly-tended mediterranean garden full of surprises: from the hydromassage tub on a ledge high up above the sea that seems suspended between the sea and the sky, to a sauna hidden behind a rock that looks onto a pretty inlet of the sea; there is a succession of panoramic terraces furnished with benches and valuable tables made of Vietri ceramics and a swimming-pool with hydromassage with a thermal winter cover.

The warden of the Torre is on the premises throughout the day, and will be there to ensure that everything on the property runs smoothly. He can also help you find a boat to hire or advise you about other kinds of trips.

It is on the way down this path that you will find the various living-areas and in order to understand how they are laid out we have divided them into 3 sectors.

1ST SECTOR: (20 steps from the car-park);

AGAVE: entrance from the panoramic terrace, living/dining-room with small corner kitchen, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower.

ULIVO: living/dining-room with small corner kitchen, 1 double bedroom with queen-size bed with bathroom with shower (ULIVO and AGAVE can be connected internally).

2ND SECTOR:(80 steps from the 1st sector):

swimming-pool with hydromassage and thermal winter cover, several terraces with wicker-work lounges, covered veranda with dining-area connected with the kitchen, which is furnished with a table for 22 people, larder and barbecue.

CANONICA: large kitchen/dining-room, living-room with fireplace, 1 bathroom with WC only. GIGLIO: 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower.

ROSMARINO: 1 double bedroom with single sofa-bed and bathroom with shower;

OLEANDRO: 1double bedroom with dressing-room and bathroom with shower.

CACTUS: 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower.

3RD SECTOR: (about 90 steps from the 2nd sector): large terrace with table in Vietri ceramics and chairs;

Tower:

(Ground Floor) large living-room with fireplace and dining-room with sea-view.

(Floor below): kitchen with access to the terrace furnished with area for dining outside, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower;

(First Floor): 2 double bedrooms of which one with fireplace, 1 bathroom with shower, panoramic terrace which looks onto the sea from which you reach the second floor;

(Second Floor): 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower and loft with 1 single bed, 1 double bedroom, sun-bathing terrace with sea-view. Private path down to the sea with furnished space.
