The grounds comprise a large lawn area, a kidney shaped swimming pool (17 x 11m, with step access) and plenty of trees providing shade.

The nearest beach, Meia Paia is a 5 minute drive away and Golf at Palmares is just one kilometre.

The villa has high wood beamed ceilings, traditional Portuguese floors with terracotta tiles and cobbled stones, and mosquito netting and shutters on all windows. The feeling of light and space is enhanced by a central atrium with glass ceiling. The interiors are furnished with a mix of modern and country furniture, complemented by paintings, creating a very relaxing atmosphere.

The accommodation is split into two levels: a mezzanine floor accessed by an ‘open’ staircase and low entrance, leading to the master bedroom, while the remaining bedrooms and living areas are all on the ground floor. Most of the rooms at ground floor level open to a long covered terrace, running the whole length of the villa, with dining and sitting areas.

Amenities include satellite TV, VCR and DVD players, CD player, portable fans and an outdoor barbecue. A telephone is available for local calls only. A baby cot and highchair are available on request.

A self-contained garden cottage with built-in sofa-beds, kitchenette and bathroom, suitable to accommodate a nanny, is available at extra charge.

On the Ground Floor there is a Central atrium with cloakroom. A Twin/double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower only) sharing a small hallway with another twin/double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower), and also opening to the covered terrace and garden.
