Situated in a beautiful and unique location, right on the shores of House Scotland 3404 on the west coast of Scotland and surrounding a private harbour, are ten self-contained, high quality houses to rent, each with its own mooring.
The location is idyllic - protected on the sea-ward side by uninhabited islands and sheltered by by the hills of Melfort to the north. This part of Argyll is a paradise for lovers of nature and outdoor enthusiasts. Activities on and around the pier include sailing, canoeing, water-skiing, fishing, pony trekking and mountain biking. Trips to the islands of Jura, Mull and Colonsay can be arranged to enjoy the spectacular views, or boat trips to the uninhabited islands. Wildlife in the area includes seals, otters, heron and eagles. Alternatively, you can visit Torosay Castle and the wonderful gardens at Arduaine and Crarae, or play a round of golf, visit a local distillery, or sample the fresh local seafood at the excellent variety of pubs and restaurants in the area. The houses have been designed in such a way so as to blend in with the environment with natural wood and local stone exteriors. All have balconies from which the views of the bay and over the hills and loch can be enjoyed. The interiors are decorated and furnished to a high standard in a Scandinavian style and well equipped throughout. Facitlites include underfloor heating, telephone, satellite TV, stereos, saunas, jacuzzis, hairdryers, and sunbeds. Each house is different in layout and has its own individual character. They vary in size from one to four bedrooms and from one to four bathrooms (most ensuite). Each house has a private sauna and spa bath. Electricity and telephone calls are metered and logs are charged extra. Cots, highchairs and stairgates are available on request. A welcome food pack can be arranged, as can a Deluxe welcome pack with flowers, champagne and chocolates. Residents at the houses will enjoy reduced rates during their stay for yacht moorings/harbour berthing, rental of sailing dinghies, , water skiing, water bumping/shuttle rides and water taxi, free use of canoe and row boat and free fishing.
