If its complete tranquility you are after, then you don’t have to leave the confines of Morocco Villa 3365, a unique, comfortable and fully staffed property, with its swimming pool, tennis court and own riding camel.
However at least one visit to the famous red walled city of Marrakech and its colourful souks is, of course, a must.
Morocco Villa 3365 comprises two houses, each with sleeping eight people and available to rent either separately or together.
Privacy is always assured as the two houses are never rented to two different parties at the same time. They are situated in 5 acres of grounds in La Palmaerai, just 10 minutes from the medina walls (city centre).
There is a golf course very close by, and you can also drive to the Atlas Mountains, or to the edge of the Sahara desert.
Morocco Villa 3365 is built around a characteristic inner courtyard, which you enter by way of an impressive row of columns. The Doll’s House, as the name suggests, is much smaller in proportion and, although it has a separate entrance and its own access to the swimming pool, it blends perfectly with Morocco Villa 3365 if both houses are required for a larger party.
Both houses are decorated and furnished in an ethnic style, in warm colors, with Moroccan rugs, colorful cushions and wall hangings.
The owners artistic influence is evident throughout, with some of her own work is also on display.
Each bedroom is different and named according to its deco - such as “Bonsai” in the far Eastern style and “Tantra” in an Indian style, with suspended king-size beds.
The salon by the swimming pool is particularly delightful, designed for dining Moroccan style, with large French windows, opening directly onto the pool terrace.
The swimming pool is built in the shape of a Moorish arch with an exquisite interior mosaic design, and can be heated on request.
There are ceiling fans throughout for warmer weather and fireplaces for use on cooler winter nights.
Morocco Villa 3365 also has central heating in most rooms, a TV and a music system.
This is a working farm and orchard producing its own olive oil, apricots and vegetables and there are several resident pets and other animals.
The staff includes a cordon bleu chef, a local cook, a tri-lingual secretary/concierge, a manager and several maids and gardeners. Breakfast is included in the rental price.
