The castle offers the ideal location for corporate and private entertaining. It offers the individual a remarkable place to entertain or celebrate with associates and friends.

It has been restored to an extraordinarily high standard and includes all of the original contents – pictures, papers, letters, furniture and artifacts that make it such a wonderful place to enjoy. It has 25 bedrooms. There are 17 in the castle itself and many containing the original half tester beds. Each has its own bathroom with bath or shower. Those that overlook the sea may well catch a glimpse of a passing school of porpoises, or the head and tail of a spring salmon heading to its nearby spawning river. You may catch the sight of a rare diver bobbing in the waves and you will certainly see a seal or two – maybe an otter in quarrelsome mood passing along the rocks in search of supper.

The scarfies at low tide dry their wings on the castle rock and you will see Johnnie heading out to sea in Mr. McNulty to see if you have crab or fresh lobster for supper.

Then there is the Keepers with 3 bed rooms and the Old Laundry with 2, each less than half a stones throw from the breaking waves on the shore. For the more peaceful, the Garden House nestles in the corner of the Victorian walled garden . Here no doubt you will spot Stephen either sowing his herbs or disappearing to the kitchen door with home grown asparagus tucked deep under his arm. Each of our 25 rooms are warm, friendly, different, and a delight to live in.
