The nearest beach, Cala Bassa, a sandy, sheltered bay, surrounded by pines and safe for bathing, is just 10 minutes drive away.

San Jose offers a good choice of restaurants and shops, including some lovely interior design shops.

The villa is surrounded by 8000 square metres of grounds with almond, fig, lemon and orange trees and an olive grove. There are views across the countryside to Sant Augustin.

Ample terraces have furnished areas for sitting and relaxing and dining outdoors, both covered and uncovered, some with tents.

The very large swimming pool (17 x 9m) has a fountain and a palm tree in one corner.

The spacious interiors have been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, and have air conditioning. The style is modern with pastel coloured paintwork and some exposed stone walls.

All the bedrooms are of a similar standard and all have access to a terrace or balcony.
