The result is breathtaking – three villas where luxury is imaginatively expressed and beautifully executed.

Situated on a bay that was built on five acres of a lushly planted and terraced promontory, flanked by the charming small bay of Kaminaki with its taverna and water sports, and Krouzeri Beach; with scuba diving and tavernas. Access to both these bays is from a broad stepped path that descends from the property to join the coastal footpath.

Directly below the property is a private wooden pontoon and floating swimming jetty that extends from the shore, and allows swimmers to snorkel directly over the reef below the house.

There is also a floodlit tennis court built to LTA standards.

An impressive gated drive, bordered with beautifully planted olive terraces and flower beds, leads down from the main road, stopping off first at Guest Villa #1, then to Guest Villa #2, and finally, at some distance away, curving down to the Main Villa, which is the one closest to the sea.

The Main Villa was inspired by the great villas of the Caribbean, this is an extremely impressive house set amidst immaculately landscaped gardens and overlooking one of the loveliest views on Corfu, across the straits to the mountains of Albania.

Occupying the best position on the estate, it is completely private and secluded, while still commanding great, open sea views.

The pool and main gardens with scattered dining and seating pavilions wrap around the lower level of the house. The upper level terraces shelter the jacuzzi , the gym annex and the Tower.

35 broad stone steps lead down form the garden to the coastal path, from where the jetty and a sea side terrace set with table and chairs is reached by a few more steps.

The Infinity Pool is 160 square metres and shallow on three sides.

The lawned gardens is planted with palm trees, olives and aromatic shrubs, flowering trees and fragrant climbers flourishing in Corfu’s mild microclimate.

Across the lawn is the pool bar with drinks fridge, drinking water and ice-making machine, where drinks and canapés can be served in the evening.

On the other side of the pool, another round dining pavilion houses a table and seating for 12 for al fresco meals cooked at the adjacent barbecue and outdoor kitchen area. A further pavilion shelters a cushioned day bed.

Above the pool level is a terrace where a pretty pergola shades an outdoor Jacuzzi, where aromatherapy and massage sessions are held three times a week in a tropical rainforest ambiance.

On a terrace yet further up is the Tower: this is a charming stone building with steps leading up to a cushioned and curtained platform with a bed, mosquito curtains and a sound system, for siestas or for sleeping under the stars. Due to the steep drop, this is not suitable for children.

Above the property is an annex which houses a gym with an ab-cruncher, cross-trainer, weights, a pool table, a flipper, a ping pong table, a guest W.C, Sky TV, seating area and outside, a gravelled boules courtyard and a terrace with table and chairs.

The house is laid out over two levels which communicate with each other from the outside only.

From the Entrance Level there is a huge sitting room, of 150 square metres, with the steeply pitched, beamed roof so typical of the Caribbean forms the natural focus of the house. Polished oak floors set off the cool white interiors.

Amenities here include: wireless internet access, telephone (no international outgoing calls), DVD library, a sophisticated sound system and integrated plasma Sky TV/DVD offer discreet entertainment.

The whole sea panorama is visible through the wall of windows which open onto a wide colonial-style veranda with iroko decking on the floor and furnished with soft sofas and coffee tables.

The master bedroom suite consists of a wonderful light room with polished oak floors, a free standing silver leaf sleigh bed, a walk in closet with safe, a bathroom with a shower area, and a curtained terrace outside, with steps leading down to the pool level and up to the Jacuzzi pergola.

Opening off from the other end of the living room is the perfectly equipped kitchen. The kitchen opens onto a dining terrace for 16 people, shaded by a sail-like awning.

Steps lead down from this terrace to the pool level and the guest bedrooms.

In a separate wing (with no internal access to the top floor), consists of 4 guest suites, each with their own en suite shower room.

There is a Twin bedroom (beds pushed together to make double bed) with en suite shower room, private curtained terrace on one side, and pool terrace on the other. Sky TV.

All the bedrooms are air-conditioned (one control for every two rooms) and have polished wooden floors. Heating means that this house is a good option for off-season.

Guest House #1, the first of the houses, is a Provencal style house with shuttered windows and a cool, rustic Mediterranean feel. It features a secluded pool courtyard with a heated pool, plantings of bamboo and grasses, a wall of water cascade features, a huge jacuzzi platform at the head of the pool, and a well equipped pool bar. A pergola with a large day bed in Balinese style offers a quiet Zen-like area.

The house inside features vast interior spaces that flow into each other. The soothing white and off white tones of the décor and the hand chiselled stone flagged floors lend a timeless elegance to the house. Underfloor heating as well as individually controlled air conditioning in all the bedrooms makes it a great off-season option.

On the Ground floor there is an Entrance hall, and Guest W.C. To the left of the hall there are two living rooms that open into each other. To the right of the hall there is a Kitchen with dining area.

On the Upper Floor is the Master suite with a 5 foot double bed. Cupboard area, shower-room with glass shower cubicle. Terrace overlooking the pool with a day bed and and outdoor shower room with hand basins.

Bedroom 2 and 3 each have Twin bedroom (twin beds pushed together to make a double bed.). These share a bathroom with bidet and twin sinks.

Bedroom 4 is a second master suite with same lay out as master bedroom. The terrace overlooks the Balinese pergola.

A rear passage outside the upper level of the house is also equipped with an outdoor shower and Jacuzzi.

Guest House #2 is a highly contemporary house, bold in concept and aligned so that every room, with huge sliding windows, overlooks the sea. Luxuriously comfortable and unashamedly modern, with exotic decorative touches from Morocco and India

The entrance is dramatic, with a cascade of water, illuminated at night which flanks the drive and steps, defined by four sandstone pillars and arches from Rajastan.

Carved wooden temple doors, a broad teak deck terrace and two tall palm trees from Egypt set the scene for escapism. The pool area continues the oriental flavour with plantings of rustling bamboo and a reclining Buddha under a thatched canopy who presides over the cushioned seating area. The pool (14 x 7 foot) is heated and has its own sound system with underwater speakers.

Running above the whole pool terrace, an elevated walkway shaded by jacaranda trees and draped with vines and wisteria allows guests to reach the upper bedrooms from the pool area. On the other side of the property, another thatched pergola with a day bed offers a Zen like space for quiet relaxing.

The terrace below has a gym. A further pergola has a bar area with seating. A short walk along the estate driveway brings you to the private pathway that connects with the public coastal path and the beaches of Krouzeri and Kaminaki.

The villa is decorated with Indian and modern art, and photography. All rooms have their individually controlled air conditioning. Wireless internet access, telephone, sound system and Sky TV.s . The heated pool and underfloor heating make this property a good option for off season stays.

On the Ground floor there is a Kitchen with wine fridge and integral coffee machine, Outdoor dining area. Living room. Study area.

A stunning master bedroom occupies the whole of one wing of the ground floor, and opens onto a front terrace. It has a huge four-poster bed and a bathroom with a free-standing stone oval bath, a wet room with ‘his-and-hers’ showers and TV screens mounted in the wall itself. A sheet of running water down one wall is activated by a switch.

On the Upper level there is a Double bedroom with lombok-style four poster bed, (5 foot wide), en suite shower room with wet-room area and twin hand basins, Cupboard area and opening onto terrace.

The four guest bedrooms all open on to the covered veranda that follows the curve of the house. The floors are teak and the veranda is furnished with colonial style planter chairs.

The views of the coastline of both Corfu and Albania are magnificent, and are emphasized by full length glass windows with electrically-controlled curtains. Drawing them back at night from the comfort of your bed reveals the breathtaking splendour of the night sky over Corfu.

The rear terrace of the upper floor (continuing to the walkway to the pool,) has an alcove with an outdoor Jacuzzi under a thatched pergola overlooking the pool.

A Guest cottage that sleeps up to 4 people may be available if needed.

The villa is fully staffed, and the services of a chef for breakfast and dinner, and hostess are included. Security gates ensure that the privacy of the guests remains undisturbed.
