Cancun Mayan Riviera Villa 20590 is located in the Sian Ka’an Biosphere, a one-million-acre nature reserve, and sits on a half mile of its own broad, white-sand beach.There are essentially no other homes on either side of the Hacienda property, which means that the sense of privacy is complete.
There is a wildlife-rich lagoon on the other side, with rare birds, outstanding fishing and boating.
Constructed in the traditional style of the Spanish hacienda. Meticulously built of the finest local materials over a three-year period, with the help of 250 local artisans.
The villa sits on 85 acres and includes over 17,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor living space.
Reflecting extraordinary attention to detail. Colonial English antique beds from India, cut crystal chandeliers and sconces, handmade lace draping over the beds, locally-made limestone tiles inlaid with intricate mosaics from Lebanon, and priceless paintings and figurines from around the world.
The Master Suite and living areas are joined together by pasillos and 12-foot deep verandahs, creating extensive outdoor living space.
Accommodations include five bedroom suites in the Main House, including the Master Suite in an entirely private wing, an additional four other guest suites located in a two-story building on the other side of the Main House. In addition, there are two other spacious rooms that may be appropriate for guests’ staff, or children. With large bedrooms and use of additional rollaway beds, this amazing property can accommodate up to 30 guests total, made up of 16 adults and 14 small children.
The Master Suite Bedroom has a King size bed and a Daybed in the Office area. There is a Guest Bedroom with King size bed. 6 Queen size bedrooms, and 3 Full size bedrooms (additional twin beds can be added to each Full size bedroom).
Outdoors, five-thousand mature jungle trees were carefully uprooted before construction, then replanted after the house was complete. As a result, the Hacienda has the appearance of having been there for years, very comfortable on it's site.
Swimming at the beach is outstanding, there is a world-famous reef, well known for its diving and snorkeling, situated just a mile off-shore. Deep-sea and flats fishing is among the best in the world and uses the property’s own state-of-the-art Boston Whaler. There is a unique Duffy electric touring boat for trips and sundowners in the lagoon, an inflatable boat for snorkeling, and single and double kayaks for up to 15 guests.
There is a staff of 40 supervised by a professional manager couple and the owner’s butler. The professional chef has international training and experience.
The villa is situated beachfront, just 180 feet from the Caribbean Sea.
Location: Just few miles from Tulum, known for its major archeological ruins, and 45 minutes south of Playa del Carmen, a charming, somewhat bohemian beach town with a wide variety of restaurants and shopping. The famous ruins of Chichen Itza are just over two hours away and the island of Cozumel is a short ferry ride. The nearest major airport is in Cancun, approximately two hours north.
