There are three and a half kitchens! The primary kitchen is off the great room. A complete second kitchen is in the lower level studio suite in the guest wing. A third kitchen is in the upstairs suite in the guest wing, and lastly, there is a convenient outdoor prep kitchen with a bar fridge and a portable charcoal BBQ grill.

Get a massage and pedicure in the garden. Swim and sun at your own heated pool. Have a Personal Chef serve a gourmet lunch in the shade, while you gaze at the mesmerizing vista.

Set against the hillside, with solid glass walls that retract to open to a garden of orchids, ferns, red ti leaf, bromeliads, and bamboo, the master kitchen is fabulous! Available for guest use are two dishwashers, a wine fridge, Lenox crystal glasses, Crate & Barrel plate ware, abundant upscale small appliances including an over-sized GE Monogram fridge, track lighting, two sinks, and spacious center island with leather bar stools.

Outdoors, there is a double car port, gated entry, fish pond, and an artfully crafted driveway featuring inlaid grass between paving stones. Abundant reclining chaise lounges are provided around the pool and under various covered patios. Out in the side garden is a stately monkey pod tree that provides a broad canopy of shade from the afternoon sun. Below this grande dame of trees, is a sitting area with a priceless view of the South Oah`u coastline.

This is one of the first homes offered to visitors in Honolulu that was built using "green" technology. Soft, cool, serene and elegant travertine limestone floors flow from room to room throughout the entire home. Not only are the floors beautiful, but they are cool to the touch.

No other nearby homes have a view into the property, other than from one up-slope villa. There are many garden areas where sunning with full privacy is possible. Drive downhill to Waikiki, Ala Moana Shopping Center, or Ala Moana Beach Park. A lovely free style ocean and city view heated swimming pool is set to the side of the house in a wind sheltered garden area. Surrounded by a patio terrace, there are chaise lounge chairs and reading chairs for relaxing in the sun. There is also a shaded patio just outside of the main house by the pool. The swimming pool is heated by solar panels. The amount of heating provided is dependent on the amount of daily sunshine and the direction of the afternoon sun. The pool temperature will vary as a result. The pool receives direct sun almost all day long, however during periods of prolonged inclement weather the temperature of the pool may be cooler.

Split air conditioning units throughout the living areas and in five of the six bedrooms with individual area climate controls. There are portable fans in most bedrooms. The entire house can be opened up for pure indoor and outdoor living. Many walls are simply large glass panels that slide open. This allows for refreshing breezes to flow through the house from the mountains to the sea, or in reverse direction depending on the time of day and season. One bedroom does not have air conditioning.

VILLA SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES: The uphill neighbor may use the driveway of this house for access from time to time, including parking on the far perimeter of the property, due to a temporary road closure. We do not consider this to be an inconvenience or a privacy concern. Bedroom 5 upstairs facing the city in the guest wing does not have air conditioning. Pool is not fenced or covered. No lifeguard on duty. This property is in a quiet residential area overlooking Honolulu. The swimming pool water temperature may vary depending on the cloud cover and weather due to it's solar heat system.
