The spectacular beaches of Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani, and Waikoloa are only a few minutes drive from Mauna Lani.
Safe ocean access for water sports is best at the same sandy swimming beach nearby. Extremely agile and skilled guests may be able to manage accessing the ocean to scuba dive, snorkel, or kayak from the rocky shoreline fronting the property. Guests enter the ocean at their own risk. You may also use the Mauna Lani Bay Beach and nearby boat launch to put in a kayak, or for scuba diving and snorkeling. Equipment rental is available right at the beach.
