The property setting is elevated above the ocean and offers direct sunset views and front-row seats for whale watching (in season) and the villa is an ideal retreat for celebrities and other high-profile guests who require one of the largest and best rental villas in Hawaii but prefer privacy away from the view of public beaches.

This gorgeous Villa has a heated infinity-edge pool (approx. 50 feet in length with depth of 9.5 feet on either end and 4.5 feet in the center) with theater seating facing the ocean.

There is also a large hot tub on the ocean side of the property.

A spacious courtyard-atrium within the confines of the villa provides a private place for shelter and sunbathing during the middle of the day.

There are seven bedroom suites, each with private bath; some with sitting areas, sofa beds and/or outdoor private showers; and, two of the master suites have in-ground hot tub/spas in private, enclosed courtyards. Four of the seven bedrooms are on the pool and ocean side of the villa and have ocean views. Another ocean view bedroom suite is located on the upper level and has two queen beds, a separate parlor with full entertainment system, computer, sofa bed, wet bar/fridge and a huge mountain side outdoor patio with teak lounge furniture. All of the bedroom suites have luxury furnishings and appointments - decorator furniture, deep plush mattresses with premium quality linens, down duvets and pillows, and minimum 40" flat panel wall mounted LCD TVs, each with a DVD.

This Villa has been designed, decorated and furnished with an understated elegance. The contemporary tropical decor features an extensive use of natural fossil stone, marble, granite, cabinets and all the furniture is custom-made of native Hawaiian Koa wood. The interior color scheme utilizes natural earth tones of beige, light brown and light green to blend with the surrounding environment.

The villa has central, multi-zoned air conditioning with each bedroom, office, media room and home gym having individual A/C controls.

The Great Room is a majestic central living space with wood paneled peaked ceiling and central stereo sound. An entertainment area provides plush chenille and leather sofa seating for 8 or 9 persons surrounding a 5 X 7 coffee table, which is a masterpiece of woodworking. Decorative items include rare, hand-carved tropical wood art bowls, custom ceramics and a wall mounted prehistoric fish fossil nearly 15 feet in length. A grand piano has now also been added for guest use and enjoyment.

The Great Room includes a formal dining area with indoor dining for 14-16 persons at one enormous koa wood table in the great room next to the kitchen. The Great Room opens onto the expansive covered pool side patio which affords ample seating and informal dining for entertaining family and guests.

There is a separate family/entertainment room which includes a 46" flat screen TV, a VCR/DVD/CD/Stereo entertainment system, a computer work station, various books and games, an extensive DVD/CD library and a state-of-the-art Karaoke machine which has four microphones and is preloaded with hundreds of songs.

Centered off the garden courtyard, there is another dedicated entertainment/media room with leather sofas, large flat panel TV with full stereo/audio system, books and games, some CDs & DVDs, computer work station/office with 4-in-1 fax/printer, Sony computer with flat panel monitor with guest log in, phone, individual A/C.

A billiards room with a custom-made koa table overlooks the pool and ocean and includes a large wall-mounted flat panel TV, a DVD player, a full bar with sink and four bar stools, and, a refrigerator/ice maker with filtered water.

The huge, center-island gourmet kitchen features wrap-around counter seating which faces the Great Room, pool and ocean; double subzero refrigerators; an expansive assortment of kitchen goods, service ware, etc. Thermador professional gas range, dual ovens, refrigerators, sinks and dishwashers, and a full array of commercial quality small appliances (including an espresso machine) - everything that a gourmand or professional chef would require. The kitchen is provisioned with sufficient high-quality china, glasses, stemware, silverware and table linens for entertaining up to 30 guests.

The Villa has a generously-sized, fully soundproofed home theater which features state-of-the-art Theta and Creston equipment, cork flooring, padded walls, wood panel ceiling and a large projection-screen with an elaborate audio system and ten plush, reclining seats complete with cup holders.

Also centered off the courtyard is another dedicated entertainment/media room with leather sofas, large flat panel TV with full stereo/audio system, books and games, some CDs & DVDs, computer work station/office with 4-in-1 fax/printer, Sony computer with flat panel monitor with guest log in, phone, individual A/C.

The home gym/exercise room includes a LifeFitness treadmill, a LifeFitness elliptical machine, Hampton free weights, a large flat panel TV with DVD, a full bath with marble shower and an additional outdoor courtyard shower.

There is a private office with a half-bath and a full array of high-tech office equipment including a Sony flat panel computer with guest log-in and two printers. There are three computer work stations located throughout the house and each station features top-quality equipment, Ipod docking stations, high-speed wireless Internet and many preloaded programs with guest log-in access.

Guests at the Villa have golf, tennis, spa and dining privileges at the seasonally applicable resort-guest rates at both the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and at the Mauna Kea Resort. Guests can walk or take golf carts 2-3 blocks to the beach at Hapuna or can drive or take a shuttle bus from the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel to the Mauna Kea. It is also possible to take a leisurely hike along a shoreline path to the Mauna Kea Resort - approx. 1 mile.

The estate typically is pre-stocked with quality amenities such as shampoos, conditioners, lotions, sunscreens, etc. There is garage parking with space for 2-4 cars depending on size. Bicycles and basic golf club sets are available for rental.
