Zermatt Chalet 9486 is a unique Swiss chalet, situated in the lovely Winkelmatten area of Zermatt, with stunning views of the Matterhorn.
Built originally as a family home, its rustic charm will delight our international clientele.
The chalet is a short walk or bus ride from the centre of Zermatt. Winkelmatten, with its ancient chapel and peaceful surroundings has 2 restaurants and a local shop.
The chalet is the perfect place for friends or a family reunion. In order for you to enjoy the full benefits of your holiday, breakfast and dinner will be served in the informal atmosphere of the chalet (in winter).
On the First floor: there is a south facing living room with wood burning fireplace and balcony, open floor plan kitchen/dining room, WC, and door leading to separate sleeping area comprising bedroom "Enzian", bedroom "Primula" and bathroom with bath/shower and WC.
Through a winding wooden staircase leads you to the Second floor onto the landing and gallery, where there is a piano.
Also on this level is the Master bedroom "Edelweiss" under the eaves with ensuite bathroom with separate bath and shower units and WC. Another bedroom "Alpenrose" under the eaves with ensuite shower room / WC.
The living room and bedroom "Edelweiss" have south facing balconies with Matterhorn views.

Services included in chalet rental include Full staff of maid and cook, reservation includes Breakfast every day and dinner 6 nights a week. On the cook’s day off, usually Thursday, breakfast is left for guests to serve themselves, and that evening offers you the opportunity to sample one of Zermatt's excellent restaurants. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed during the week.
Taxi to and from Zermatt train station to chalet (arrivals 4:00 PM departures 12 noon).
Also includes Firewood.
Your host/chalet person will be at the chalet to show you around and answer questions. Information about ski passes and ski school, (advance booking of ski school, kindergarten, etc. is recommened)
The chalet should be vacated by 12 noon on departure day. Taxi will be ordered for your train departure.
Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village - all transport is by electric vehicles.
