Enjoying magnificent views over the Banffshire countryside, it is a typically large Scottish country house of the late Victorian era with all the comforts of the present.

The public rooms are comfortable, spacious and have large open fires. The whole house is centrally heated and furnished to a high standard. It is ideal for family reunions and corporate entertainment and can be available either fully catered or let on a self catered basis. Full corporate packages can be arranged.

When the house is taken on a fully catered basis, the cooks provide a wide variety of dishes, based on the best of Scottish and local produce and for that special occasion it may be possible to have the services of a piper. It is well served by both air and rail, with Inverness airport being an hour away, Aberdeen an hour and a half and the mainline station at Aviemore is about 50 minutes drive.

Guests are totally spoilt for choice of outside activities including fishing, stalking and shooting. Otherwise the area is riddled with golf courses. Speyside is the home of most of the best-known malt whiskies with the Glenlivet distillery only a short walk from the house.
