The villa is located in Tango Mar only 5 miles (8km) from town.

Driving from San Jose Airport will take 4 hours. Driving from Liberia Airport will take 4 hours.

Also for a different experience you may wish to take a more scenic route which includes a ferry over to Tambor. You pick up the ferry from the port of Puntarenas. From San Jose Juan Santamaria Airport to Puntarenas, the drive is approximately 2 hours. the drive is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Once at Puntarenas, take the ferry from Puntarenas to Paquera, in this relaxing one hour and fifteen minute trip, you can see the Gulf Islands, birds, dolphins, etc. Once at the other side, Tango Mar is only a short forty minutes drive on a paved road, through mountains, forests, charming towns and panoramic ocean views.

If you do not wish to drive so long, or take the scenic ferry route, you can also get there by domestic airline service. It is only a 20 minute flight on Domestic Airlines Sansa or Nature Air from San Jose Juan Santamaria Intl Airport to Tambor landing strip. Also, private flights can be arranged.

Transfer between Tango Mar and Tambor Airport cost US$9.00 per person per way. It is 20 minutes from the landing strip to the villa.
