THE RIVER COTTAGE OFFERS 3 BEDROOMS
The cut stone shed that housed the farm equipment 200 years ago is today a cozy three-bedroom home, sturdily built of cut stone walls 18" to 30" thick, hewn timber beams and blue mahoe plank floors. But don't be mislead by the name. This "cottage" also features state-of-the-art remote control air conditioning in all bedrooms, modern plumbing and electricity and a full kitchen. Dramatically renovated in 2001, the Cottage is the marriage of two worlds: 18th Century ambience and contemporary comfort.
Located a ten-minute walk or one-minute drive down the valley from the Great House. A short walk leads to the stables and children's playground with swing set and sliding board.
Throughout the cottage are original antiques, carved mahogany beds, buffets and tables from Chippenham Park Great House in St. Ann's Parish.
The eclectic design includes unique artistic details complementing the warmth of its antique furnishings, from the fanciful handmade lampshades and hammered tin wall art to accessories of wrought iron and stone fired by the resident potter. Even the towel rods are art.
Perhaps the most relaxing space of all is the comfortable porch trimmed in dwarf bamboo.
A walk of 40 feet across the grassy lawn leads to a stairway to the river 100 feet down a wooded path. Here is another world fantasy of burbling green water for wonderful swimming and a picnic area for jerk, fish, chicken or lobster.
Play in the sunny lagoon or relax in the shade of the bamboo forest. If you want to relax to the sounds of birds and a running river, a time to put your feet up and be still, all in a remarkable setting, it is here.

The homeowner's house is a brand new villa built near to the River Cottage. It consist of a Master bedroom #15 (king size bed), guest bedroom # 16 (queen size bed) and a children's room # 17 (twin size beds). Also has its own private pool.
All twin beds can be kissed together as kingsize beds (ONLY WHERE SPECIFIED) . While this villa can accommodate 35 guests, its configuration in individual buildings and cottages makes it perfectly suitable for 2 or 3 couples or a small family.
The Cottage is located right next to the river, only a 2 minute walk across a 300-year-old stone bridge to a delightful swimming hole with a rope swing and floating platform in a green bamboo garden.
You can have cookouts at the river as often as you wish.
Time ‘n’ Place beach is a rustic white sand beach next to the beautiful turquoise Caribbean ... just 4 miles east of Falmouth.
Conde Nast described the beach bar here as “the best beach bar in the Caribbean.” Play checkers and listen to music under its thatched roof, have lunch and some brew, nap in its shade.
Bonfire Night at the Beach is private to villa guests every week ... as often as you wish. Bamboo poled rafting down the Martha Brae River is just 20 minutes away. Windsor Caves are nearby for caving. Half Moon Golf, Tennis & Beach Club is 35 minutes west.
