Bermuda Private Island 8859 comprises of just over 8 acres, with one of the most extensive private shorelines in Bermuda.

The main residence offers 17,000 square feet of living space with 7 bedrooms in the main house and two bedrooms in the pool cabana, with an additional staff apartment, for a total of 10 bedrooms for up to a total of 20 guests.

Special features include a cedar panel library, marble hearth, cedar surround fireplaces and a circular lounge with special lighting features.

In the center of the house is The Great Room, a spacious sitting room overlooked by a gallery.

Leading from this room is a more informal sun porch and the elegant dining room which can seat 14 persons.

The Master Suite is made up of two bedrooms, two dressing rooms and two bathrooms all with fabulous water views.

In fact most rooms in the house have a view of the water.

There is also a staff bedroom accommodation in the main house on the lower level, which sleeps 2 guests, can be rented for an additional charge.

A small exercise room is also on the lower level and there is a jogging track around the perimeter of the island.

You can enjoy a large swimming pool with a two bedroom cabana, paddle tennis court, beautiful gardens, golf putting greens and a small beach.

If you are a golfer, you can easily reach the dock of Riddells Bay Golf Club, just a short boat ride away.

Reservation rates include: Full time housekeeper and a concierge/property manager responsible for all maintenance and for transporting guests to and from the mainland. Gardening and pool maintenance.

There is a 10 per cent service charge added to the rent, which is passed to the full time staff.

Also included in the rental is electricity and local telephone calls. All long-distance telephone calls are for the guest account.

The last boat leaves at 11:00 PM each day. There is a boat schedule in each room. Extra boat transportation by special arrangement. Guests are allowed to use the small Boston Whaler Boat themselves to and from the dock, if they require more flexibility with transportation.
